Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3985680.

A12 Southbound has a huge square looking pothole in outside lane of 2 lane section.

Caused my front tyre to split.

    We are very sorry to hear that this has caused your tyre to split. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We also carry out frequent safety inspections where potholes and other defects are recorded. We then carry out repairs prioritising the most serious.

    The route inspector has carried out an inspection at this location and confirmed that repairs have now been completed.
