Confusing road markings.

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 18:40, Tue 22 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3985054.

The roundabout at junction 19, M62 for Heywood and Middleton has had a lot of work done with the addition of a new bypass road and new traffic lights etc. The road marking makes drivers get in the wrong lane for Heywood so traffic regularly are tussling for position to exit the roundabout for Heywood. I use this roundabout regularly and seen quite a few near accidents and even cases of road rage caused by the confusing markings. This problem needs immediate attention and remarking of the road lanes.
