Water/Drainage gulley along the A5 Bypass

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 14:05, Sun 20 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3978473.

The water / Drainage gulley on both sides along the A5 Bypass from Junction 10 of the M42 Towards Tamworth are Blocked, full of debri and weeds in numorous places causing pools of water on the bypass when There is heavy rain. It has been in this condition for months and would think a good clean up before the winter and rain set in might avoid dangerous flooding on the bypass.

  • Dear Sir/Madam

I am becoming increasingly concerned due to the amount of times I was aggressively tailgated, cut up, flashed, swore at and almost rear ended because I am sticking to the 40mph speed limit on the A5 through the current roadworks in Tamworth.

Signage states "Cameras not in use" so other drivers are continuing to drive at 70+ mph.

Either enforce the speed limit or remove it. This road is now dangerous to drive on at 40mph.
