Kenton Bar Interchange Roundabout

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3975747.

Traffic lights going northbound over roundabout to the airport are not functioning correctly. On red for 2minutes but green for around 5 seconds. Traffic is starting to tail back up to Newbiggin as you cannot get any throughput. Been like this since about mid day.

  • I have reported these lights from Ponteland road onto this roundabout have been adjusted this week and are not back in sync. Heading down Ponteland road onto this roundabout to either go to the airport/Kingston park or the A1 the tailbacks are going further up Ponteland road towards the next round about and further towards Cowgate. There has been very aggressive drivers/incidents happening.

    I have called the highway agency this week & also the council to report this and the lights are still the same.
