No lighting on Avonmouth Bridge

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 18:12, Wed 16 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3969854.

Since the clocks changed at the end of October, there has been no lighting on Avonmouth Bridge during the evening peak rush hour. The bridge is used by traffic both north and southbound heading from and to Wales, using the exit for Gordano Services (southbound) and Avonmouth and M49 (northbound). There are often accidents on Avonmouth Bridge, especially during the evening peak with cars queuing to exit at J20 (southbound). This area is an accident blackout and should have fully functional and working lighting to decrease the risk of further serious accidents causing delays and disruption.
