Severe tailbacks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3968353.

For the past 2 weeks the traffic leading up to Jct 11 of the M27 (Fareham Central) have been queing all the way back to the Market Quay Roundabout making it impossible for anyone to get to the slip road leading down to the Delme Roundabout. Is this a possible fault with the phasing of the traffic lights on the Jct 11 roundabout?

  • I believe there is a phasing issue with the traffic lights at junction 11 heading from Fareham onto the M27. This has been happening for the past 2 weeks as mentioned by someone else on the 16/11/2022. causing queues back to the market quay roundabout and having a knock on effect to traffic on the A32 and Newgate lane in Fareham. Hope this can be looking into and rectified?

  • Traffic is still queing back along the A27 to the Quay St roundabout due to the traffic light phasing on the Junction 11 M27 Delme link lights. Can someone provide an update?

  • Thank you for your report concerning faulty traffic light phasing at Junction 11 of the M27.

    We've investigated the issue and found a fault in the communications system through the BT line, leading to incorrect phasing at these lights. We've raised the issue with BT for repair.   • Still not fixed, been over a month now, tailbacks back into the A27 - A32. Can someone please chase and update?
