Taffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 16:14, Fri 11 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3957376.

A recent change at these traffic lights is causing long queues of traffic on Avonmouth road. The lights are only allowing 2 to 3 cars through. This is making access to Akeman way, Leeming way difficult. Whatever changes were made to light sequence needs to be undone. We have never had traffic queueing like this before.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways concerning the traffic lights.

We're aware of the issue and there has been an update by Siemens traffic controls and it looks like they may have changed some settings.

We've requested them to return and check what's been done so they can correct the issue as, unfortunately, its not something we can do ourselves.

If you require any further information please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or info@nationalhighways.co.uk.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
