Traffic backing up towards Shirehampton

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 16:31, Wed 9 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3951961.

Green lights have been altered and don’t let enough cars through. The traffic is backed up, during rush/school hour, to past the M5 bridge causing problems for road users and traffic exiting Akeman Way and Atlantic Road trading estate. This is aggravated by cars on the left being parked forcing cars into one lane rather than three. This has been a problem for the last two weeks.
