KEEP CLEAR road markings at Southerham Roundabout, Lewes.

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 14:43, Wed 9 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3951562.

At peak hours in particular, eastbound traffic on the A27 comes to a grinding halt where the double carriageway turns into a single road, causing tailbacks along Lewes bypass. Unfortunately, the KEEP CLEAR road markings are barely visible, resulting on the entrance/exit to the roundabout from the A26 south to A27 west being blocked... this results in delays and tailbacks back into the Cuilfail Tunnel. I feel that either traffic lights or a yellow hatched box might be more effective anyway, as you probably can't see the KEEP CLEAR markings until you're on the roundabout anyway. Thanks.
