Rotten fencing

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3946648.

The fencing that runs along the M1 motorway is rotten in places. Some stakes are rotten at the Base and this is effecting an area of about 100 meters in length.

    Our inspectors will be out on site to investigate the location, and seek out an appropriate fix.

  • Thank you for your report concerning damaged/rotting boundary fence on the M1 J33-J32.

    We’re aware of the damaged boundary fencing our inspectors have checked the location and the work required. Due to the length of fence concerned and that there are no specific missing sections showing at present. We are to look to raise a scheme for the work to be carried out. We don't have a timescale at present for this work but it will be scheduled as soon as we are able.
