Wrong speed limit

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category by David Richards at 16:46, Mon 7 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3945959.

The speed on the eastbound lit section of A52 single cway from the Nottingham Rd junction to 100 m approx from the Cropwell Road Junction is signed as National speed limit applying; ie 30 mph. Is this correct? It is through a rural environment with only one minor access connecting to it. The next section eastwards is urban in nature with multiple accesses, one of which; Cropwell Road, has substandard visibility, yet is signed 40mph, ie an increase. As the preceeding section of eastbound cway is 70mph no traffic travels at 30 on this sandwich section.
