Thulston roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 06:44, Tue 1 November 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3928305.

I wanted to know who to contact to see if anyone was going to put traffic lights in place on the Thulston roundabout? I have lived in Alvaston for a few years now and the rush hour traffic is horrendous at the roundabout, especially now the new houses have been built. The problem lies with the continuous traffic running from raynesway and the A50 from Donington northbound, this especially is the worst for us trying to get off the roundabout as they just pile round and you can’t get out. This is super frustrating as I only work in shardlow and it can take up to 20mins to get through the roundabout some days. Temporary traffic lights would be ideal to sort this as permanent would not be needed all day, that would give us fair chance to get across the roundabout. If you cannot help me I would be grateful if you could direct me to someone who can. Regards Jamie.
