Broken Inspection Cover

Broken inspection cover by illuminated national speed limit sign (272/02). Black cables in pit, assumed feed for illuminated sign. Half of cover missing and located in centre of footway.

  • Thank you for your report concerning a broken inspection pit cover.

    Our inspector has attended and replace the cone and cover to make safe. We are also reissuing a Section 81 notice to UKPN to repair or decommission the cable pit joint.
