Unnecessary Chicane

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 12:02, Fri 28 October 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3920932.

In London direction at the junction with the Royal Redgate and A444 I consider that chicane is unecessary. I regularly pass the chicane and enter the dual carriage way at 50mph and virtually every other vehicle passes me above the legal speed limit. Also if we have snow the chicane will not be visible and will be be a danger to traffic. Also in thick fog it could be hazardous. If you do consider the chicane is necessary it should have poles around it’s perimeter with red reflectors facing towards traffic.
