A27 manhole cover dropped

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3915484.

This was looked at about 3 weeks ago and supposedly fixed. Except it is not and is as noisy as ever. I live about 600 yards away and can still hear the constant banging when traffic passes over. Can someone please fix this permanently, is it really that difficult?! Thank you.

  • Thank you for your report concerning the noisy manhole cover.

    We're aware of this issue which has been raised with Southern Water, who attended on 5 October to carry out repairs. Following inspection the failed repairs have been raised with Southern Water to reattend and rectify.
