Your dumped equipment is everywhere

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks (NH) category anonymously at 17:06, Tue 25 October 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3914404.

Broken large chapter 8 signs dumped on verge on approach to roundabout, reported months ago. No different to flytipping. Your workers persistently litter all their equipment everywhere instead for cleaning up after themselves. It is an absolute disgrace.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report concerning redundant roadworks equipment on the M11.

We are currently looking into a way that we can overcome this issue and will endeavour to remove all redundant signage and equipment at our earliest opportunity.

Due to the volume of roadworks across our network it can be difficult to identify which equipment needs to stay or be removed.

We have passed your report on to the relevant department who will investigate your concerns. In the future could you please report issues such as this to our Customer Contact Centre as this reporting tool is designed for defects such as a broken sign or barrier, litter, overgrown vegetation or potholes.
