A31 roadworks - Ringwood

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3904564.

The project update 17/10/22, with notice of road closures for the period 21-28 October 2022 contains errors and is not clear. The date quoted for Sunday appears to be incorrect. Would you also please clarify whether the road closures 23-28 October are daytime or overnight only (21-22 specifies overnight, but the other dates are not specified).

  • Thank you for your email of 21 October 2022 regarding the A31 Ringwood Improvement Scheme.

    We apologise for any confusion caused by the published information. Below are details of our planned closures:

    • A31 westbound will be closed between 8pm and 6am from M27 J1 to Ashley Heath on the nights of Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October. • A31 eastbound will be closed between 8pm and 6am from Ashley Heath to M27 J1 on Sunday 23 October. • A31 Ringwood Flyover east and westbound will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on the nights of Monday 24 to Friday 28 October. Traffic will be diverted off and on the A31 via the slip roads.

    We don’t expect the closures of the Ringwood Flyover to inconvenience journeys, but please allow additional time when travelling during these periods.

    Again, please accept our apologies for any confusion caused.
