No safe pathway for residents

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 14:24, Wed 19 October 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3900299.

Hi there,

I know that there is the underpass for pedestrians to cross this roundabout. But as someone who has lived here my entire life, it isn't always safe, especially for women to use. There is currently no way for pedestrians to safely cross the roundabout without using the underpass. Would you consider changing this to ensure vulnerable people can safely get home. It would change lives. There are regular robberies on the under pass, as you can imagine! Some people are so desperate not to use it that they would rather risk walking over the slip road - which is obviously very dangerous! please consider changing for local residents, we are tired of our lives being fit around cars. Towns should be made for people
