Traffic light timing causing long delays

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3896229.

Long delays during rush hour especially. Signal timing/sequence doesn’t seem to be working properly. Traffic queuing back into Wickersley

    Thank you for contacting us by Fix My Street on 17 October about issues with the timing of traffic signals on the M18 at junction 1.

    We’re sorry to hear of the delays being caused by the signals here. I can confirm that we’ve arranged for an engineer to attend site tomorrow to investigate and carry out any necessary repairs. We’re hopeful that following this the issues with the signals will be resolved.
