Traffic lights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3894130.

The traffic lights are only letting 2 cars through at a time and the tailbacks are ridiculous. Takes me nearly 45mins to get from cramlington to great park in the mornings and it’s not acceptable. Needs sorting asap.

  • Traffic lights from A19 onto Seaton Burn roundabout have changed since road was resurfaced last week. Taking me an extra 10 to 15 mins to get home to Ponteland due to large tailbacks being created. This is about 5.15pm and the queues are now huge. Lights are on green for about 6-7 seconds and letting minimal traffic through. Why has this been changed?

  • There is a large piece of blue tarpaulin blocking lane 2 of the A19S exit to Seaton Burn Roundabout. Cars are having to swerve into the central reservation to avoid.
