Road surface subsidence, wheel ruts / pothole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3885831.

On the A419 north bound starting by slip road to Merlin Way 1) previous repair patch has sunk: 2) continuing north bound A419 very deep ruts (caused by lorry tyres in soft tarmac) then just before the flyover the White Hart rounabout there is a dangerous rut (next to a sign) appox 1m x 0.5m - the O/S front wheel of my car dropped into this hole and the car was forced towards the verge.

Updates

  • A419 northbound, by the flyover by the A420 Oxford Road junction, in the nearside lane, very large and increasingly significant pothole (can be avoided by cars and motorists who know about its existence although they need to hug the central line to avoid it), which many lorries and larger vehicles are being thrown off course - it won't be long before a vehicle is overturned due to this pothole.
