Last week the problem had not been fixed. Unfortunately last night the road was closed so I was unable to check the up to date position. Originally this sign was mounted too low but after complaints it was raised by a small amount but insufficiently when the bushes grow above fence height. The answer is to remove these bushes once and for all.

They kindly sent me a photograph showing that the problem had not been fixed. even though the inspector thought it had. Not impressed! However they have been in communication with me acknowledging the problem which should now be dealt with in April. I asked if they had an easement for the sign and it appears that they do not have one. I suggested they set one up with the landowner. You can ask me in April whether it has been dealt with.
