Blocked drains in lane 3 on the M62 between hartshead moor services and junction 25 exit towards manchester

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3876162.

The drains in lane 3 have rubbish and weeds blocking them, how are they supposed to work correctly when it rains. They have been like this over a year at least. When it rains it just runs across all lanes.

  • Thank you for your report concerning drainage on M62 junction 25.

    We’re aware of the issue. The drainage referred to is the v channel in this location, which in one of our priority areas. Our inspectors have already raised defects for this location and it has been raised with our contractors. This location is due to for the v channel clearing this location completed end of Oct/Nov.
