Major branch f tree has snapped

A substantial branch of a willow tree snapped overnight. I cleared the debris from the road this morning, but have just noticed that the branch is "propped up" where it has fallen in the South Winterbourne stream outside my house. The tree is not on my property and is immediately adjacent to the A35. I would imagine that if we get windy weather (not forecast until Wednesday) this could be a potential traffic hazard.
