Delapidated safety/crash barriers
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3843457.
The safety/crash barriers are in a delapidated state on the bridge over the A1 M at Warmsworth, Doncaster. Several of the support posts are missing several are loose and several are partially rusted through. All posts throughout the length of the barrier are affected rendering the barrier to be below standard and therefore unsafe. This matter has existed for several months and probably extending to years. I reported it to Doncaster Council but they have not done anything about it. There are damaged and missing grills on the hand railings that were put in place to stop access to children and or animals.

National Highways manage motorways and certain ‘A’ road trunks roads in England, all other roads are the responsibility local authorities. In this instance the barrier in front of the parapet on the roundabout at this location is not a National Highways asset. It is therefore the responsibility of Doncaster Council.
