Light sequence not appropriate

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 05:54, Fri 23 September 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3842790.

Traffic lights are not allowing full flow of traffic. Extra traffic is using Jct 3 on M2 due to closure of Jct 5. This is causing extreme delays, road rage and frustration. Yesterday I was threatened due to pure frustration as people are aggressively pushing into queues. This issue will result in an assault, fight or accident. The current sequence is not appropriate for the weight of traffic.
