Light timing wrong -huge tailbacks

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3831080.

The lights are red for too long. Huge tailbacks into Cannock in morning blocking vehicles leaving m6 southbound. In eve same issue . M6 northbound blocked but vehicles can’t get into island from a462. It took me 40 minutes to get from a462 into a460. Historically in rush hour it could take 10mins which is awful in itself

  • Sick to death of waiting in traffic 20 mins or more to get onto Shareshill village from whichever direction you approach. It’s gone on too long. It’s a disgrace. Get it sorted !!!

  • Thank you for your report. We've passed this to one of our engineers who will visit the area to inspect the site. Once the inspection has been completed they will then undertake any necessary work to repair these lights and ensure the timings are correct. Thank you National Highways
