Issue with m6 jct 11 traffic lights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3830830.

The traffic lights at jct 11 M6 linked to the A460 leading from m54, are out of sync, this has been going on for 2 weeks. The flow of traffic is causing several mile tailback of traffic to the M54 jct 1. This tailback on the A460 is causing traffic build up around the area of Featherstone and shareshill. Causing cars/lorries to cut though villages passed primary schools and single file country lines.

Updates

  • The problem with these lights is causing a huge flow of traffic (travelling at speed most of the time) around Shareshill and Saredon. I walk to the local primary school each morning and afternoon with my two children and have been fearing greatly for our safety.

  • Thank you for your report. We've passed this to one of our engineers who will visit the area to inspect the site. Once the inspection has been completed they will then undertake any necessary work to repair these lights and ensure the timings are correct. Thank you National Highways
