What’s up with the temporary traffic lights it’s been months now surely the replacement ones should be working by now. The road is a disaster

  • Thank you for your report concerning the temporary traffic lights.

    We’re carrying out improvements to the signalised junctions of Lyons Way and Sompting Road where they meet the A27 Upper Brighton Road by way of upgrading the traffic signals at both junctions, resurfacing sections of the pavement, widening pedestrian crossings and renewing road markings. The old traffic lights have been decommissioned and temporary lights installed for the duration of the works. The scheme will be completed early November.
