  • Thank you for your report concerning faded road markings on the M27 at Junction 5.

    We currently have plans to completely resurface the stretch of motorway between junctions 5 and 7, including repainting markings. This scheme will add a thick layer of asphalt on top of the concrete that’s currently in place there, and it is due to start in Spring 2023, lasting approximately 12-18 months to complete. Up-to-date information can be found at the following link as we make it available:
