Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3810336.

6:25am this morning, traffic had to brake heavily and unnecessarily for 60, followed by 50, followed by 40, followed by national speed limit signs, for a queue that didn't exist.

  • Thank you for your report concerning unnecessary speed limits on the M27 gantries.

    Currently we're unaware of any incidents in this area that might have caused these limits to be implemented, so I've logged this issue as a potential gantry issue and we're investigating any potential faults in the system that may have caused this problem.
