Road closed without warning

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3806046.

This road was still closed at 7.40am at the roundabout at the top of Breck Road Poulton le fylde, it was meant to reopen at 5.30am. We need a warning if this is going to be the case tomorrow morning, it was absolute chaos this morning with many people unable to get to work and school

  • Why have you got the laziest people on the planet working here. Have they ever seen the video of the Japanese sinkhole being fixed or the Dutch inserting a tunnel under one of their motorways. Done in less than 48 hours. These roadworks are a joke. Instead of sitting in the back of a van on their phones, maybe they should do the job they're paid for.

  • There are excessive tailbacks across shard bridge, down mains lane and to the River Wyre roundabout due to roadworks. Journeys are increased by 45 mins which is not acceptable.
