Traffic Lights Sticking on Red
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3801616.
Traffic lights at pedestrian crossing changing to red every few seconds on their own accord. Causing huge tail backs on the A46 and Link Road as a result. Issue has been present for over 24 hours, please can someone respond, even to temporarily switch off the lights.

We have raised this with our inspectors to be investigated at the first possible opportunity.
Our inspector will review this to determine whether remedial work is required to make the area safe for the travelling public.
Although we always try to respond to these reports in the quickest time possible, we would ask that anything of a safety critical nature be raised with our Customer Contact Centre directly. They are available 24 hours a day, on 0300 123 5000. This will ensure we process any such report as soon as it is received.
