Incorrect lane markings at Thickthorn Interchange when entering roundabout from A47 SB for A11 WB.

Reported via mobile in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 13:11, Mon 29 August 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3787637.

***Noticed whilst trying to join the A11 WB from the A47 SB***. The slip road consists of 3 lanes. From left to right, lane 1 is down as ‘Nor’ (Norwich), lane 2 is down as ‘Thet’ (Thetford) and lane 3 is also down as ‘Thet’. If you’re travelling in lane 2 from the slip road onto the roundabout, it puts you into a lane which is down as ‘GYAR’ (Great Yarmouth). If you’re travelling in lane 3 from the slip road onto the roundabout, it puts you into a lane which is down as ‘GYAR & THET). So according to the road markings on the slip road, you can use both lanes 2 & 3 for Thetford, when in-fact this is completely incorrect. Further round the roundabout, a new lane for ‘THET’ becomes available. This is positioned next to the lane you would be in if you joined the roundabout from the slip road lane 3 ‘THET’. At no point in lane 2 from the A47 SB slip road can you take the A11 WB. If you’ve come from the slip road in 2 lane you need to actively change lanes to be in the correct lane for the A11 WB. I can’t comment how long these road markings have been incorrect for, I only noticed recently when in the area.
