Major Flooding on A road

Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 07:21, Thu 25 August 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3779038.

Major flooding across the road not long after coming out of the Portsmouth road A3 tunnel north bound. Covering both lanes and deep enough to cause an ACCIDENT. We just hit it in our van (possibly 50-60mph) and it decreased our speed drastically (about 40-45) before applying brakes. Across both lanes caused a ginormous splash either side of the van, drowning a small car windscreen besides us, obviously masking any views of the road they will have. Definitely needs a speed limit of 30/40 coming out of the tunnel past that zone.
