Updates

  • Thank you for your report concerning surfacing issues on the M27.

Our inspector visited the location and agrees that work is needed to ensure the safety of road users.

We've arranged for our Drainage and Geotechnical teams for assessment as this damage may be due to more complex issues than worn surfacing. In addition, we will have a sign installed warning road users of the uneven surface as we investigate. In the meantime, we will regularly visit the area and arrange emergency repairs for any safety-critical defects.

    Kind regards

    National Highways
