Trees established on branch

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 15:27, Thu 18 August 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3764592.

The single track bridge, crossing the M66 at Chatterton Hey, Edenfield is covered with well established bushes. The roots of which are well established in the infrastructure of the bridge. Unless these are attended to soon the bridge infrastructure will be damaged and cause a costly repair and inconvenience to travellers on the M66 both north and south. It looks like this problem has been there for a while and needs immediate attention.
