Reported that the fence was broken on the the field on the northbound carriageway of the M5 south of Nass Lane on 04/08/22. There has since been a grass fire due to the weather and now the fence is completely gone. This needs to be repaired to protect the animals from the motorway.

    Our Highway Inspector has been to the location and will look into the repair of the fence.

    The field is ploughed so no animals will be in there.

  • The field had recently been re seeded with grass seed - not ploughed. The grass has now re grown and animals (sheep) are now in the field. Please can the fence be repaired asap. Many thanks
