Footpath on north bridge over M6, J27 has been closed

This footpath on north side of roundabout over M6, J27 has been closed and cordoned off for some time because, it is alleged, a pothole has appeared in the footpath. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists is to use the South side, involving crossing a number of roads.
