Road marking roundabout arrows needed

Reported via mobile in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 22:42, Sat 13 August 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3752111.

Every day I’m seeing more and more people incorrectly use this roundabout, and have seen many near misses. When the traffic starts to queue eastbound to turn right at the third exit to Eastbourne many are driving along the left hand lane and continuing around to exit on the 3rd exit. This is absolutely fine if there was arrows on the road to indicate to do this such as the A23-A27 westbound roundabout in Brighton. However I’ve seen many unsuspecting people nearly get hit from incorrect usage. It seems to be increasing with more and more copying others doing it. Please could there be arrows on the road with correct usage, whichever way will work best.
