Damage to the bridge

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3739068.

Lancashire County Council have received this report from the local district council. The bridge in question carries A680 over A56. According to our records the bridge is owned and maintained by Nation Highways.

Rossendale BC have rang to inform us that there is some living under the A56 bridge near the B6527 and he is damaging the bridge. They have tried to assist the person but they aren't wanting any help and they believe this person has mental health issues and so have advised not to approach alone. The individual is taking large pieces of concrete out of the bridge.
