Pedestrian crossing not working properly

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 17:48, Fri 5 August 2022

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3733906.

When the button is pressed, the lisght surrounding the button come on. Nothing happens with the lights controlling the traffic and the lights surrounding the button go out. When the button is pressed again, the same process happens. Only on the 3rd attempt do the lights controlling the traffic actually change.

This is an intermittent but not infrequent problem.
