Drainage problem, overflowing and bad smell

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3732357.

I had previously reported to East Sussex highways however it’s ever so slightly out of their zone. It gets fixed but then it starts spilling out again and slowly increased in puddle size. It also smells incredibly bad

  • Thank you for your report concerning an area of flooding.

    Our inspector has reviewed this and advises that there are signs on footway and edge of carriageway that there has been some sort of foul sewer leak. Investigation at Portland Terrace above A26 shows possible source. The area is now dry so we presume that the local Water Board has resolved the issue.
