Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3731973.

I travelled from LHR to Maidenhead tonight, lack of advance information meant I arrived at Jct 8 to find the slip road closed. You’ve invested £mmm in a smart motorway with lots of dot matrix signs why were these not used? As a result I had to make an unnecessary and avoidable extension to my journey to J10 and return, delaying my journey home, using more fuel and adding to my carbon footprint.
