Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

This stretch at the edge of the highway is (opposite Cobham Services) is consistently smothered in litter.

Regular litter picking is required, or the installation of litter bins to manage the litter in this location.

  • I don’t know why people bother to report it’s like litter, overgrown plants and dead animals. We all know that National highway workers very rarely venture far from the comfort of their van. Perhaps only to call into the nearest takeaway or to park up asleep in a lay-by.

    We have passed your report regarding this matter to our local inspector who will review this location as part of their next safety check and will raise works for mitigations if required.

    We'll be undertaking litter collections in our next routine cyclic maintenance. At present, we can't offer you a date of the works.
