A38W near to junction with A3064 - Boundary fencing collapsed
Reported via mobile in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 07:57, Tue 2 August 2022
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3723618.
Approximately 15-20 metres of metal wire boundary fencing has collapsed leaving open access to A38W carriageway, beginning at What3Words ///birds.method.assets and ending at ///hangs.goods.spout, in between the on slip with the A3064 and the Honicknowle Lane bridge.
This has been down for two months, since the middle of June 2022.
The boundary fencing is bordered by vegetation but provides a boundary between the carriageway and a very popular dog walking field. Dogs are walked off-lead along the boundary fence on a daily basis. Please fix as a matter of priority to prevent any dogs getting on to the live carriage way, being killed and posing a risk to road users travelling at high speeds.
