Obscure speed signage In roadworks near jct 8 on M4

The speed signage in the roadworks around jct 8 during Friday pm roadworks inconsistent and a 50 mph sign had fallen over then overhead signs suddenly was 40 mph

    We can confirm that these works are now completed as of Saturday 30 July at 06:00. These speed limit restrictions have been removed and the signage is no longer in place. We have taken your comments on board and will do our best to ensure consistency in motorway speed limit changes around roadworks to the best of our ability going forward.
