Traffic Light phasing causing queues and near misses

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3693797.

Long tailbacks and confusion being caused by out of sync phasing at both sets of traffic lights (Junction of A27 and Sompting Road, and junction of A27 and Lyons Way/Upper Sompting Bypass). With the amount of cars that appear to be jumping the red light coming North from Sompting Road (East/West lights go green and traffic still crossing junction from Sompting Road), this could cause an accident. This is an emergency/urgent situation that has apparently been reported many times and is still ongoing?!
