Excessive noise and smell

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3686467.

I have been tolerant and understand the roadworks have to be done but last night was not acceptable. All night I could hear beeping horns and people shouting on tip if the normal banging and grinding noises. With temperatures being so high it is unfair on residents to keep windows shut overnight. Is it not a waste of time to lay asphalt in high temperatures???
