The overhead signs on this section of motorway (both directions) regularly/continuously show spurious speed restrictions, lane closures or other random messages. I drive this road regularly and on an almost daily basis there are displayed signs which are totally irrelevant to the road. At all times of day or night there are signs taking down to as low as 40 mph for three or four gantries then an all clear sign. This is even the case when there is absolutely nothing in site to cause a hold up. Both directions and all hours of day and night. Is this a sandpit area for training people?? if so it is dangerous and annoying.
